to a PH claim for a 2nd days pay. - If you take your train from A to B then told to go back outside of switching limits for the 2nd train from B station and bring it back inside station B that qualifies you for a 2nd days pay via PH claim.
- If you are called at the away from home terminal and perform relief service and then deadhead home after that service, then you can claim a PH code for your 2nd days pay.

To be eligible for Shoft Term Relief Service (RT) and a 2nd day’s pay, you must:
- Work out 25 miles or more then turn back for a total of 50 miles or more.
- Work over 8 hours on first train, then relieve a 2nd train.
- Accumulate over 100 miles then relieve a 2nd train.
List ALL trains you handled and times of departure and arrivals along miles of each run on the required RT information screen.
Miles must equal total miles entered on tie up screen.
